In the digital age, engagement is everything. Whether you’re seeking opinions, raising funds, or hosting a competition, finding a way to stand out and boost participation can be a challenge. That’s where Izivote comes in, offering a unique twist on traditional polls with its paid voting feature — that empowers creators to fund their events, drive competition, and engage voters like never before. Ready to unlock the full potential of your polls? Let’s dive in!
What is Izivote?
Izivote is an intuitive platform that allows anyone to create interactive polls and voting systems for a wide range of purposes. From event organizers and businesses to content creators and community leaders, Izivote is built for those who want to gather feedback, host fun challenges, or run important decision-making processes.
But here’s where Izivote stands out: it’s not just about collecting votes — it’s about creating an experience. By leveraging the platform’s paid voting feature, you can turn your polls into a powerful tool for generating funds and increasing engagement.
How Paid Voting Works
With Izivote’s paid voting, the process becomes much more than just selecting a favorite option. Here’s how it works:
Create a vote page: Select paid as the vote type when you create a vote poge.
Set a Voting Price: You can choose how much you want to charge for each vote. Regardless of the amount, you decide what makes the most sense for your goals.
Voters Pay to Cast Their Vote: When people participate in your poll, they’ll pay the set amount to vote for their preferred option. Voters can cast as many votes as they want, with each additional vote adding to their total.
Raise Funds Easily: The revenue generated from paid voting goes directly into supporting your event, cause, or project. This means you can fundraise without the need for extra fundraising campaigns or third-party tools.
Why You Should Use Paid Voting
Now that you understand how it works, here are five key reasons why Izivote’s paid voting feature is a must-have for your next poll or event:
1. Fund Your Event or Project
If you’re looking to raise funds for an event, cause, or project, paid voting is a straightforward way to bring in money. Instead of relying solely on donations or ticket sales, you can generate income through each vote cast. It’s an easy and fun way to reach your financial goals.
2. Create More Competitive Polls
Paid voting adds a layer of investment that makes voting feel more exciting. Voters are more likely to participate actively when there’s a cost involved, especially if they feel their vote could make a real difference. Whether you’re hosting a talent show, a contest, or an election-style poll, this added engagement creates a more thrilling competition.
3. Personalized Poll Creation
Izivote’s platform allows you to fully customize your poll to suit your needs. You can design the layout, choose voting options, and adjust the price per vote. Additionally, you can track the funds raised, giving you real-time insights into your success. It’s all about making your poll exactly what you want it to be.
4. Attract More Voters
The paid voting model can help your poll stand out. Since each vote requires payment, people are more likely to engage in the process, either to support a cause they care about or to compete in a fun, competitive environment. The more voters, the more excitement — and the more funds raised.
5. Increase Community Engagement
When people pay to vote, they’re not just participating; they’re investing in the outcome. This creates a sense of community and involvement. Whether you’re running a contest or raising funds, paid voting ensures that voters feel connected to your cause and invested in the results.
What Makes Izivote Stand Out?
Izivote is more than just a simple polling platform. It’s a complete solution for creating engaging, customizable polls that drive both interaction and aid revenue. Some key features include:
Real-Time Results: Track the votes as they come in and see instant updates on the status of your poll. It keeps everyone engaged and curious to see the final outcome.
Simple, User-Friendly Design: Izivote is built with ease of use in mind. You don’t need to be a tech expert to get started — just create, customize, and share.
Secure Payment Options: With secure transactions, both creators and voters can have peace of mind that their payments are safe.
Versatility: Whether you’re organizing a fundraising event, hosting a competition, or simply seeking opinions, Izivote works for all kinds of polls.

Izivote website has recently gone through a major update. The update presents bug fixes and more importantly the addition of several new features to the app. Some of these new features include
Two new vote types
Anyone who has created a vote page on izivote would know izivote has two vote types (Open and Facebook) ever since izivote was launched, but due to requests from some users and analysis of the system, we decided to add two others, making a total of four different vote types to choose from for your vote page. The two added are Paid and Ticket.
With the Paid vote type, you can set an amount to be paid per vote, this is a way to generate revenue for your awards. You can set any amount in either US Dollars or Nigerian Naira.
With Ticket vote type you generate a list of tickets whereby only those with the tickets you added can vote. It is useful for office elections, class votes, etc, where everyone has a unique id known to them (e.g. staff number)
Online payment
Online payment has been integrated to izivote hence you do not need to contact us to upgrade your account to pro or premium, you can simply upgrade your account by purchasing any of our plans in the pricing page
Nominee profile
Having an izivote account now gives you more value because you can now create a nominee profile, upload your details and select categories you would be interested in, so you can be easily found by award organisers and have a higher chance of being nominated. In addition, it makes it easier for organisers to add nominees to their vote pages without having to source for information or type, nominees can be added with a click of a button.
There a several other changes made to izivote, a lot on the invisible part of the system, to raise performance and serve you better.
The Edo/Delta Icons and Stars Award is organized to appreciate hardworking individuals and organizations who in one way or the other contributing towards the growth and development of Edo and Delta States. The third edition of the award is scheduled to hold on the 27th of May 2018. The nomination list for the award has been released which contains 30 categories with well deserving nominees in each category. Voting would commence from the 29th of April 2018 and any one can vote through the Edo/Delta Icon and Stars Award vote page on Izivote. The full nomination list is given below;
We constantly ensure that voting done on our platform is as easy and stress-free as possible, that you can easily find nominees in their distinctive categories and making them obvious to find, or if not found, using Izivote Search would easily locate them regardless of the vote page they were nominated in, same applies to options in izivote polls. Although voting on izivote seemed simple enough, there were certain factors which strain voters a major one being the need of voters to scroll to the bottom of each category to login to vote (in the case of a vote page using the Facebook vote type), scrolling up back to select the nominee or option to be voted for and scrolling down back to the bottom of the category to click on vote, the procedure only gets worse in mobile devices which have lesser display viewport hence accommodating limited nominees on screen at a time, which increases the amount of scrolling required from the voter. Although this limitation seemed not to have stopped thousands of voters who regardless voted for their favorites, we saw a need for it to be improved (thanks to all users who contacted Izivote support). We decided to bring the login button and vote button closer to any nominee or option to be voted for, hence voting on izivote now takes the following steps:
Click on a nominee or option to be voted for, once that is done, the ‘login to vote’ button would be shown above the nominee if login is needed to vote, else the vote button along sides a cancel button would be displayed.
If login is required, click on the ‘login to vote’ button and login appropriately.
If login is not required or if already logged in, the cancel and vote buttons would be displayed, click on the cancel button to cancel the vote process or click on vote button to vote for the selected nominee.
Once the vote button is clicked, the vote would be sent and the voting process is completed.
This doesn’t just reduce the amount of scrolling but it totally eliminates the need to scroll to vote a nominee or option once already in view, making it faster, easier and less stressful for anyone to vote.
From the bottom of the screen to the left-bottom of each category and now just right in front of the nominee or option to be voted for, we have gradually but eventually made voting on Izivote easier. Move your votes or polls to izivote today and take advantage of our system to provide you what is needed to have a successful award vote or poll survey.
Voting for several award shows have been done using the Izivote platform. For us it is fullfiling to see the platform playing such relevant role and doing so effectively and effeciently. Being an online voting system izivote is a powerful tool used to create polls and online votes for diverse events such as awards, research and surveys. However, beyond the expected and known features, izivote provides several other tools which make it stand out as an exceptional online voting platforms.
Without further ado here are some things you probably didn’t know you could do with izivote.
Auto close votes
Izivote gives you the ability to set a time when voting would be closed, of course your votes won’t be open forever. This feature is particularly used to ensure voting is closed at a preferred time, also if you just feel lazy to log into your account to close voting, auto close voting is a great walk around for you.
To set auto close votes, follow the following steps
Go to your vote page settings
If vote stage is in ‘voting’ stage, check the ‘auto close vote’ check box
Set the time you want votes to auto close and save the changes
There you have it, once it gets to your set time, we would automatically help you to close voting.
Create an application form
Sometimes it becomes stressful to type categories, poll options or nominees for votes especially if there are several of them to be inputted. Izivote lets you create an application form which relieves you of the stress of typing in data.
An application form is simply a form you create for people to nominate themselves, by creating an application form you can request a nominee applicant to provide information about themselves you require, all information gets to you once anyone submits the application, from which you can remove those you think don’t meet your requirements.
“How is this different from using an external form service to get the information?”, well that would be a good question, but using an external form only gives you the information and doesn’t place it on a voting platform, you would still need to copy and paste to one, unlike using izivote application form that puts it directly on our voting platforms and lets you start your votes without stress.
To create and use an application form:
Go to your vote page dashboard
Add all required categories to your vote page
Click on application form
Add all information required from a nominee applicant (name and category are compulsorily included) and save
Go to your vote page settings, change vote stage to application and save
Now when any one visits your vote page, a form would be displayed for them to fill and nominate themselves.
Create multiple vote page
This feature was added in the most recent update of izivote, prior to which an account can only create a single vote at a time, this makes it easier for you to manage multiple independent votes at the same time, reducing the complexity of having to create another account to have another vote page. To create a new vote page
Click on add vote page from the vote pages drop down or page
Select your preferences, give your vote page a name and save
As simple as that is it gives you a new vote page.
Embed vote page on personal website
This is one of the astonishing features of izivote that makes it one of the best voting platforms, every website owner wants traffic to their website, (Why? More traffic potentially equals more income). But how can that be achieved if some visitors are redirected elsewhere, this restrict some website owners from using some third party services for their site, however most third party service providers support embed features which helps you place their content directly on your site without having to redirect your visitors to theirs. Izivote also does that.
With the embed feature, you can use izivote to create a vote page, add categories, nominees or options and embed the vote page on your website. That way voting takes place directly on your website while making use of our service. Great stuff! Simply copy the embed code on your vote page dashboard and paste wherever you want the vote page to appear on your website, that does it.
Preview vote statistics with charts
Another great feature added to izivote as at the last update is the use of charts to show vote statistics, unlike the progress bar used prior to the update, charts show more graphical and visual information of vote statistics. Vote statistics are now displayed using pie charts, bar charts and donut charts. Which show the metrics of votes received by each nominee or option. Simply go to the stats tab in your vote page dashboard and select your preferred chart to view results.
Certainly there are more features in izivote other than these stipulated on this post (Izivote is the only voting platform that allows you upload nominee’s pictures), as you familiarize yourself with the izivote interface you would get a hang of them, check our blog regularly to see posts on other features and be updated with izivote.
Izivote gives you the ability to create votes online for free, before you dive into using it, it would only be logical to evaluate its usage and find out if it would be profitable to you as well as meet your expectations. Izivote’s service lets you create online votes and polls for free, hence knowing the advantages of this service will give you a better idea of why you need it and should use Izivote. This post to give you some of the advantages of using an online poll
Advantages of online polls
1. Online polls can reach a wider audience
Thanks to the internet and the global connection that it gives, once a poll is placed online it is accessible to everyone on a global scope. Increasing the participation in your poll which ultimately increases the publicity and awareness of your brand or award.
2. Online polls are easier for people to respond to
In our present days, almost everyone owns a computer especially with the introduction of smart mobile devices, and most people spend their time using these computers while surfing the internet both during work time and leisure periods. Thanks to the fact that people can carry out several functions simultaneously on their device it would be no stress for them to answer you poll while they are on something else. Hence people will be willing to engage in your poll as it does not totally disrupt their planned-out task.
3. Online polls are faster and more accurate
Online polls deliver results instantly as the results are computed even as they are entered and are readily available. Once a system has been programmed accurately, it gives less or no room for mistakes and like Izivote, results of polls and awards are being computed accurately
4. Online polls are easily processed and displayed
Online polls results are already in digital format and so no further processing required. Online polls provide further analysis of the result with several statistical tools, for example Izivote also presents your result in form of a bar chart (other methods to be added in future updates) This saves time when it comes to presenting these results, they could as well be printed out easily.
These are few of the several reasons why it would be a good idea to have an online poll, and with great online poll apps like Izivote, the process is made easier. So start creating polls, surveys, award votes today with Izivote.
We are constantly making improvements to our system in order to give the best to our users. In as much as Izivote has new UI upgrades, we also pay attention to our background working codes, optimizing them to give faster results making you to accomplish more tasks faster. With the recent changes to our user interface (UI) on the account dashboard, we also made optimization to our system.
Remember that you can be part of those making Izivote better for everyone. Send you suggestions for upgrades or report bugs to our support at [email protected] or chat with us live on our website.
Izivote is an app that lets you to create votes and polls for free. Before developing izivote, we noticed that several votes were being done using a social media account and others which had dedicated website for them were limited and so lacking in some functionality. It actually seemed like a good approach to use social media for voting, but we looked beyond it to other possibilities, seeing limitations which it had, some of which include:
Most of these votes only work with a single category, limiting the award as social media platforms cannot effectively categorize nominees, and we all know that is not what social platforms were built for.
Votes are public, hence everyone knows the outcome of a vote before it is completed, and at many times this is not good as the suspense of the vote process is not maintained which is actually less exciting
Most time social media are used for votes and the person using them does not have the means of getting their own website integrated with voting.
Since we noticed these challenges and more, we decided to create something that would handle all these challenges and more, to create the perfect application for voting, such as:
Making it possible to hide votes
Letting you group votes into categories and adding nominees into specific categories
Adding features which let nominee photos to be added
Giving you your own link, leading to your votes
Making it possible to use the votes on your website if you have one
We still let you to link to your social media form your vote page
Voters can also share their view as they vote with comments
Giving your control over your votes
The list goes on. Izivote can be used for polls just as it is used for votes. We hope to power several awards, votes and polls that are coming and we are working continuously in upgrading our system so as to give everyone the best we can. Don’t wait, create a free izivote account today and start making votes. Contact us for support at [email protected] or chat with us live from our website www.izivote.com.
